Terms of service
General
Welcome to the visa services (the "Service") of Rustravel Oy (business ID 1743918-3, the "Service Provider"). Use of the Service is subject to the following terms of use and contract terms (the "Terms of Use"), which the User must read carefully before using the Service. The Terms of Use bind the User regardless of whether use of the Service requires registration.
The Service Provider is a trusted Finnish travel and visa agency.
The Service Provider has operated since 2002, and our customers include both Finnish and foreign companies as well as private individuals (the "User").
Use of the Service Provider's website requires acceptance of the following terms. By opening these pages you agree to comply with these Terms of Use. Use of the pages is not permitted unless you accept these terms.
The Service Provider has the right to change these Terms of Use at any time by updating them.
Nature of the service and fee principle
Authorities, such as the embassies, consulates, and other competent authorities of destination countries, charge processing fees for evaluating and handling an application, not for guaranteeing that a visa or other permit will be granted. The Service Provider's fees correspondingly cover the preparation and processing service for the ordered application, not a guaranteed outcome.
Rustravel prepares and submits the application strictly on the basis of the information and documents provided by the customer. The final decision to issue or refuse a visa rests exclusively with the embassy, consulate, or competent authority of the destination country. Rustravel cannot guarantee that a visa will be issued.
The visa type, validity period, number of entries, and duration of stay specified in the order represent application preferences. The consulate or visa authority makes the final decision and may issue a visa with a shorter validity, fewer entries, or a shorter permitted stay than requested.
Distance selling and withdrawal
In distance selling, a consumer has a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. When placing an order, the customer expressly requests that processing of the service begin immediately, in which case, upon cancellation, the customer remains responsible for the work already performed and for any committed official and third-party fees. Full terms and the electronic withdrawal function: Cancellation and Refund Policy and the Order cancellation page.
User's responsibility
When the Service Provider returns the passport and visa to the User, it is important that the User confirms that they have received all the visas needed for their trip and that the visas are valid in each destination country on the arrival and departure dates. If the User notices any discrepancies in the documents, the User must notify the Service Provider immediately.
Service Provider's responsibility
The Service Provider does its best to keep the information on these pages up to date and accurate.
The Service Provider is not responsible for price changes made by the authorities of the countries concerned to visa, consular, invitation, and authority fees. Prices are presented without commitment.
National holidays and exceptional opening hours of authorities may affect the stated delivery times.
The Service Provider is not responsible for documents delayed or lost by embassies, consulates, visa centres, or other authorities and comparable bodies, for possible changes in visa practice, or for any resulting costs to the customer or third parties, such as cancelled trips, flight tickets, loss of income, or similar costs.
Even if a visa has been issued, border authorities have the right to invalidate a valid visa or refuse entry. The Service Provider is not responsible for decisions of border authorities.
Dispute resolution
These Terms of Use are governed by Finnish law. Disputes concerning the use of the Service are primarily resolved through negotiations between the parties. If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, it will be settled by the Helsinki District Court. A consumer customer may also bring an action before the district court of their place of residence and refer the matter to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi).
If the customer notices any discrepancies in the documents, the customer must notify Rustravel Oy Ltd immediately.
