After the application has been checked, and if there are no reasons not to grant e-resident status, the foreigner is granted e-citizenship for three years.

How to apply for e-residency in the Republic of Lithuania?
A foreigner who is at least 18 years old must fill out an application for the granting of electronic resident status through the Lithuanian Migration Information System ( MIGRIS ) and submit it to the Migration Agency.
After filling out the application through MIGRIS, the foreigner must appear in person at the selected external service provider within 4 months from the date of filling out the application, and the foreigner legally residing in the Republic of Lithuania must reach the Migration Agency and submit:
- A valid travel document that meets the identity verification requirements of the Law on Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing of the Republic of Lithuania
- A document that grants the right to reside or remain in the Republic of Lithuania when an application is submitted in the Republic of Lithuania to a foreigner who is exempt from visa exemption
- Biometric data for identity verification (facial image and fingerprints).
