A single-entry visa is valid for 60 days. The applicant is entitled to stay in Thailand for 60 days after arriving in the country, and it is possible to request an additional 30 days from the Immigration authority.

The pensioner visa is intended for people who are over 50 years old.

A multi-entry pensioner visa is valid for one year. This means that the entry must take place within the validity period of the visa. The validity period of the visa sticker is written on the visa sticker under ENTER BEFORE.

With a pensioner visa, you can stay in Thailand for a maximum of one continuous year. The holder of a retirement visa does not have to leave the country during the validity of the visa, but must register at the local Immigration office every 90 days.

  • Documents required for a Thai tourist visa:


    • Copy of passport


    • Visa photo

    (We can take a photo in the office or you can send a photo in electronic format)


    • Statement of income

    In the form of a bank statement, which shows the final balance of each month for the last three months. The applicant's income is considered sufficient for a stay in Thailand when he has at least 30 euros per travel day in his account or 60 euros per travel day for a family with the same last name. (regardless of the number of family members).


    • Flight tickets

    In Finnish or English, both on arrival and departure from Finland to Thailand within 90 days.


    • Proof of residence in Thailand

    (E.g. own apartment, invitation letter, visiting family or friends, hotel reservation).


    Important: In addition to the mentioned documents, the embassy has the right to request additional documents.


  • Documents required for pensioner visa “OA”:


    • Copy of passport


    • Visa photo

    (We can take a photo in the office or you can send a photo in electronic format)


    • Original certificate of wealth available from your savings or checking account. Investments, funds, etc., other similar accounts are not valid as proof of assets. The balance of the savings or current account must be at least €25,000 (800,000 Baht). The certificate may not be more than 30 days old. In English and certified by a notary public.

    Or

    • Original pension certificate with a monthly net income of at least 65,000 Baht (about 1776.30 EUR, exchange rate varies daily). In English and certified by a notary public.

    Or

    • Asset certificate + pension income for the year is a total of at least 800,000 Baht (about 21862.13 eur, exchange rate varies daily). In English and certified by a notary public.


    • Criminal record extract

    The applicant must not have entries in the Finnish criminal record. ( The Legal Register Centre )
    The certificate may not be more than 3 months old.


    • Medical certificate

    The medical certificate must be certified by the notary of the registry office. The certificate may not be more than 3 months old. The applicant must not have the following diseases: leprosy, drug addiction, elephantiasis, third phase of Syphilis.


    • Health insurance certificate

    (English) with an insurance cover for outpatients in Thailand of at least $100,000 per person.
